Poetry: Artlessness by Sanjeev Sethi

Artlessness

When the thank-you note to a private dinner
is a social media notice, I’m unsure if I’m
at the wrong turn or with the wrong peeps.

The fluffed has been intrinsic to foofaraws
forever and a day. I’ve stopped playing
with the decor. No face-lift, no revamping.

Enough of shuffling. If you’re OK with odors
I’m yours. We’ve email and other thingamajigs.
