4 AM
by Sanjeev Sethi
Phrases cruise
at an uneven pace.
Images sink in
as sensations takeover
like gullywashers.
Flashback is a cuss word
which never fails to minimize me.
Your lips on mine
and her eyes
insulting our intimacy.
Even in memory
you’re crisp like charm
pierced through the pinhole of love.
Reality has its own rigor and rationality.
